1961 Cooper Tea Cards. Collectable Tea Cards were introduced in the 1950's as a way of advertising and retaining customer support for their product. Through the 1950's and 1960's tea companies such as Coopers, Brook Bond and Typhoo produced these cards in the millions. The cards were all educational based and covered a vast array of subjects such as Wild Flowers, Flags of the World and Transport Through The Ages to name but only a few. Although no longer produced these cards are still being traded through clubs, associations and auctions. Their place in our social history is guaranteed. Property of Robert Pool
