'Cat's Whisker' radio device

At the 91Èȱ¬ Guernsey half-term event for A History of the World, Julia Blondin contributed this 'Cat's Whisker' radio device, which was made by her father during the occupation of the island by German forces between 1940 and 1945. It was made so that her family could listen to the 91Èȱ¬.

This is the simplest form of radio as it requires no power to work.
