1960's Savings Bank. This type of bank was issued by numerous high street banks and unlike piggy banks, the issuing bank held the key so only they could open it. This ensured that the saver took their savings bank along to their branch that would open it and put the cash into the customers account. There is now a countless number of these savings banks which can never be opened as the issuing banks no longer keep the keys. Property of Robert Pool
