This tile from the Roman Bath House at Melyd Avenue, Prestatyn, was a part of the roof called an Antifex tile. It is marked "LEG : XX" and with a running boar, the symbol of the 20th Legion. This was the legion based at Chester (Deva). The outpost by Prestatyn was guarding the lead mines at nearby Meliden, an important resource for the Legion.
